Q: IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE A PERIOD AFTER MENOPAUSE?

AFTER TWO AND A HALF YEARS OF NO PERIODS, I STARTED , IS THAT NORMAL? I AM 53

Hi, Need to Know!

 

I guess my first question is whether you were truly in menopause (although it sounds like it based on your description). Sometimes, a lot of stress on the body can result in no periods, so that could be the reason why you didn't have one for that period of time. I'd strongly suggest that you contact your doctor in order to get a medical opinion/diagnosis.
