I have been having heavier periods and they have become closer together. My period this month was just very light spotting of old blood(brown) that lasted 2 weeks. I have the common symptoms of premenopause so I'm wondering if this spotting means I'm getting closer to menopause? I am 41 years old. My mother went thru menopause at 45 years old.
