Q: My period came about 9 days early. Is this common in peri menoapause? I am 46 years old

VERY common, Marie. In general, periods tend to get closer first, then farther apart. But irregularity becomes the usual rather than not. This happens because you are producing less hormone, esp. progesterone which regulates your cycle. Hope this info is helpful. Feel free to keep the questions coming as changes occur.
