Q: can you get pregnant without a period?

I am 48 years old. I have not had a period for about four years. My pap smears are all normal. Is it possible to still get pregnant?

Thanks

It is VERY unlikely that you could get pregnant after 4 years without a period.  If you are feeling very anxious about this and need proof positive, the best way to make very sure is to have a FSH blood test drawn by your doctor to prove that you are no longer in the reproductive stage.  With your age and the fact that you are 4 yrs past menstruation, I think I can be very reassuring that you are not going to have a surprise pregnancy.

If God wants her to be pregnant with or without a period it will happen. There is nothing impossible through God.
