Q: Am I crazy?

I am 49 and have all the signs and symptoms of being pregnant.  Home tests are giving both positive and negative results.  Had tests done at the doctor office still getting both positive and negative results.  The doctor has done an ultra sound but I haven't gotten the results, they will be upcoming in next visit.  (nurse left message on phone saying congrats at the end of her message) Does that mean I am?  My last pregnancy I was 61/2 months pregnant and still having negative results.  How do I find out for sure.  If I am pregnant I would be due sometime between June 15 and August 1.  For the past two days I have been feeling like I am having Braxton Hicks Contractions.  Please don't be little me and please no sarcasium.  I am really scared and worried.  Please can someone HELP me?   In the beginning I really thought that it was the onset of menopause but not I am not sure.   Please someone help.  I just need to know what everyone thinks.  Thanks

WOW, I sure hope no one would belittle you! The ultrasound and a blood test for beta-HCG should give an answer (the blood test is more sensitive.) See this URL for details on that. http://contraception.about.com/od/contraceptionfailure/p/bloodtest.htm. Pregnancy vs menopause is a serous question and has to be answered! You care not crazy for beign concerned.

Thank you for that link.  I am still waiting for the results from the ultra sound.  The blood work was done again and still the same results one positive and one negative.  So I am still waiting.  I guess if worse comes to worse I will find out soon any ways, because if I truly am pregnant I will deliver by the first of Aug.  Once again thanks for the link.
