Q: I get really hot then my body starts to itch all over. I am 52 and my period stopped at 47. Why is this happening to me?

I was put into earily menopause at 47. Now at 52 I get over heated and my entire body starts to itch all over. I have to find the coldest place I can to cool off. Why is this happening to me?

Hi, Tamra,

Unfortunately, I've not found anything in my menopause resources that gives me a clue about what you're dealing with. I'd suggest that you talk to your doctor or a dermatologist to see what is causing the itchiness.

Take care and keep us posted.
