Q: being preg and not having a period and being on BP

I am 50 yrs old and have been on the BP since I have been 16 (no complications) and no period for 7 yrs. And got off for 1 wk. Got back on and after the 1st wk of being back on the BP had unprotected sex with my partner. Could I get preganant?

Hi, Kit Katt,

 

I'm not a medical doctor so I'd suggest that you talk to yours. However, my initial take is that if you haven't had a period for seven years, you shouldn't be able to get pregnant. But again, check with your doctor, who is the expert.
