Q: Hello , I am a female who has had cervical cancer. I think my crevix has closed . Does this mean the doctor can not get a speciam to check for other cancer cells?

I'm not a medical doctor, so I don't feel comfortable trying to answer this question. I'd really suggest that you talk to your own doctor about this issue.

Shelia,

 

I don't understand the issue about closed cervix so you need to ask  your doctor about it. I doubt that this prevents a doctor from checking your organs down there. If it is true I would be surprised. A doctor should be able to check it all for you. The worst thing you need to do untrasound or CT scan if the doctor cannot reach the area.
