What Is Provera Used For

A recent study has shown that women who use Effexor to relieve
their hot flashes might find better relief by using Depo-Provera
instead. Women in a Mayo Clinic study who were given one
intramuscular shot of Depo-Provera reduced their hot flashes by 79
percent. Women who took daily Effexor doses decreased their hot
flashes by 55 percent.
