Memory, learning take a hit during menopause

Many older women begin to lose their memory, and they fear this may be a sign of the onset of Alzheimer's disease. But according to a new research, menopause may be the cause of this memory loss. Dutch researchers have found that menopausal women do suffer a dip in their ability to learn and retain information due to changes in female hormone levels. But the good news? Most women will recover their memory and learning ability spontaneously as they move through menopause.  Read full story >
