well since i have had 2 bad migraines in less than a week that required a shot for pain, and the fact that my job is on me about time missed the doctor finally gave me a prevenative. i start propranolol tommorrow. here's hoping it works!

    Propranolol, aka inderal is a beta blocker frequently used as a Migraine preventive medication. We have information on this medicaton you can find HERE.

    will do.................... i hope hope hope this helps. i go back to the doctor on the 12th of june. i hope they don't have to up the dose, as the dizzy spells are getting to me. and the nasuea. have only had one headahce since i started the meds on friday.... and even that wasn't as severe as it could have been ( got to love sharp drops in the barametric pressure)

    Sometimes it can take three months for our bodies to adjust to new medications and we see a reduction in Migraine frequency. Potential side effects tend to go away as we get used to the dose too.

    great... just what i want to hear..... gonna be pukey for couple more months.......... lovely.

     

    but oh well if it helps the head i guess it's worth it
