but i am going to ask about why they are going above 100 mg when it helps but not that much.
i still think amatriptalyne ( spelling) would work better. i went 7 years headache free, and went off of it to have a baby, and never went back on it.

I've been on Topomax. I have never felt good nor have I gotten relief on less than 100 mg. I feel better on 200 mg. My doctor won't let me go over that because she says there isn't any information to show that going higher will have any benefit. Do you feel ok on 300 mg? At 200 I really don't have problems with side effects like the lower doses other than that I'm cold a lot. Does 300 help more with your headaches than 200?

Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 07:04 PMi've been on 300 mg less than a week. so i really couldn't say. truthfully, i think that the sleeping pills have helped me more than anything. since i work 3rd shift now i actually sleep. whereas before i didn't.
