new on here so il start by telling you my story which started over 6 months ago now,iv always suffered with migraine with aura but its never bothered me much simple painkillers did the trick and i got on with my life until i went on holiday 30th of july,the day after we got there i didnt feel to good and just put it down to the long drive,then my heart arythimia started which told me i was in for something it never botheres me unless am ill and boy was i ill with vertigo but stuck out the week until i got home and went to a and e where i was told id prob a virus id be fine in a few days then the headache started pain like id never felt before along with severe vertigo,earache,stiff neck,dislike of light and noise atixia,vomiting,constant yawning,disasociation,blurred vision,anxiety,panic,nightmares,and nystagmus i was terrified i made several trips to a and e and was told id labs it would go in 2 weeks but 2 weeks later i was still in bed unable to get up and couldnt even make it to a and e and collapsed i was taken to hospital and told id menierres disease after 3 days i was sent home still the same and no medication,eventually i saw a neurologist after 4 and a half months where hes diagnosed me with basliar migraine but since my symptoms have improved no need for treatment but my headache is still there not nearly as bad but there everyday and my ears still feel full and my neck still hurts but no vertigo just waves as i call them of dizziness that happen several times a day.but what iv read iv never heard of it lasting this long.
