Late it seems that everyday I have a headache on the weekend it turns into my nightmare the migraine. I started about 3 weeks ago on the topamax so I hope that will eventually help, but anyway. What can I do to even stop some of the headache I have everyday, I'm in need of pain relief, I try not to take over the counter drug b/c of rebound headache, so I mainly suffer during the week and on the weekend I find my self in bed with my ice pack and meds. My 3 yrs don't understand and her dad who always wants me to drive 3 hrs to bring her to see him is not helping at all. I need to work so it hard for me to take off during the week to try and prevent the nightmare on the weekend. I really need some advice... I want the pain to end...

Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!
Do you alter you sleeping patterns on the weekends? Some people can trigger a Migraine attack, or cycle by changing their waking or going to bed times. We have an excellent too to help you track your triggers called a Migraine diary.
Topamax is on of the many Migraine preventive medications that are available.
So don't lose hope.
