Migraines, Headaches, and Thyroid Awareness Month

January is Thyroid Awareness Month, and it's a perfect time to remember that the thyroid gland can impact Migraines and Headaches.

Thyroid diseases, including hypothyroidism, are among the conditions now know to often be comorbid with headaches and Migraines. Untreated thyroid issues can make Migraines and headaches more difficult to treat. Untreated hypothyroidism may also be associated with developing new daily persistent headache (NDPH).

You can read more about the connection between thyroid, Migraines, and headaches and what blood tests should be done to test thyroid in Migraine, Headache, and Thyroid.
