Findings of a study published in Neurology®, the Journal of the American Academy of Neurology add to previous findings that Migraine disease is tied to increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
The authors of the study concluded:
"Both migraine with and without aura are associated with cardiovascular disease (CVD) and with risk factors for CVD. However, since our sample size is large, the clinical relevance of the differences is yet to be established."
