Finding an effective Migraine abortive treatment can be challenging, especially for Migraineurs who have any history of or risk factors for stroke and other cardiovascular disease and events. The triptans -- Imitrex, Maxalt, Zomig, Amerge, Relpax, Axert, and Frova -- and the ergotamines ...

I have been following the trials so closely... I have hemiplegic migraines (as well as classic with and without aura), so The Seven just aren't in the cards for me...and most preventatives just do not work on me.
I'd really love to try this stuff out - it's yet another hope.
Thank you for your continued reports, Ms. T! As always, you are so very appreciated!
I am currently in the study for Telcagepant for menstrual migraines. I don't know if I have the placebo or not (obviously) but here are my results after 2 months.
Month 1 I took the drug for 7 days, starting 2 days before my period. I didn't have a single migraine for 1 month which hasn't happened for years.
Month 2 I took the drug starting day 1 of my period, had a migraine every day of my period, and am now still recording the rest of this months results. So far no other migraines once my period stopped.
I'm glad I found this website and plan to keep checking back for updates in the headache world.
