The Alliance for Headache Disorders Advocacy (AHDA) is working toward a Congressional hearing devoted to Migraine and other headache disorders. You may remember that not all that long ago, Michael J. Fox testified at a Congressional hearing about Parkinson's disease. That Congressional hearing marked a new era for Parkinson's, an era of increased research funding, improved public awareness of and knowledge about the disease, and a decrease in the stigma attacked to Parkinson's.

We believe that the next vital step in accomplishing the same for Migraine and other headache disorders is a Congressional hearing. Congressional hearings don't just happen. There's never been one dedicated to Migraine and headache before. If there's going to be one, we need to show Congress that there's public support for it.

That's where you come in. The AHDA has prepared an online petition to Congress urging them to hold Congressional hearings on the impact of headache disorders. All you need to do is follow a link, enter your first name, last name, email address, and zip code. There's an optional area for adding comments if you wish.

You can "sign" this petition in literally two minutes. Just two minutes to do your part to encourage Congress to hold this vital hearing. So...
