Good afternoon, and welcome to day 10 of the Migraine Awareness Month blog challenge!
Today's challenge prompt is:
Migraine Awareness Month #10: Name the Spokesperson
Choose any celebrity to represent Migraine (whether they have Migraines or Not). Who would it be and why?
So many possibilities came to mind for this one. There are actors who would be great: Marcia Cross, Whoopie Goldberg, Lisa Kudrow, Ben Afleck, and more. I thought about Michelle Obama and Princess Kate.
If we could bring back someone from the dead, this one would be a no-brainer. Elvis Presley, who was a Migraineur, would be perfect! But, we need to select a living person, so...
My choice for a spokesperson to represent Migraine is Hugh Laurie in character as Dr. Gregory House. The series has now gone off the air, so House would have plenty of time to work on our behalf. He's very recognizable, so it would take long for him to be known as the spokesperson for Migraine.
He may be a jerk, but he always gets to the bottom of things. He's so relentless that he could probably get everyone to increase research funding. House's high energy level would be so good for Migraine awareness. Hopefully, it would soon infect the entire community.
I hereby nominate Dr. Gregory House as our Migraine spokesperson!
