The misconception that Migraines are "just bad headaches" haunts all Migraineurs. To help dispel that misconception, here's a shirt to go with the shirt on the teddy bear... This women's capsleeve raglan shirt is 100% cotton and super comfortable. Available in multiple colors from CafePress.com, priced at $18.99.

For the Migraine or headache sufferer who has everything, here's a gift only YOU can give! When nothing else seems quite right, give a gift of your time. I've prepared a gift certificate that you can print and fill in the blanks to give someone a specified number of hours doing something for them. You might babysit, clean house, cook, run errands, or just keep them company. What could be more special? Click HERE to download this gift certificate!

One last suggestion...

Another great gift is to donate to a charity in someone's name. There is a huge unmet need for Migraine and headache research, the basic kind of research that has to be done before new and better treatments can be developed. You may have read here that a group of doctors and advocates went to Washington in September for an event called Headache on the Hill.

We are now working toward a grassroots initiative to get NIH funding increased. If you'd like to make a donation toward this initiative, you can click the "Donate" button below. That will take you to a page to donate to the American Headache Society. On the page that allows you to designate a purpose for your donation, please specify "Headache on the Hill." You may also fill in someone's name and send them an ecard to let them know you donated for them. Every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated.

Happy Holidays!

The generally long periods of time between my Migraines are the result of working with a Migraine specialist to refine my preventive regimen. You can see my current regimen HERE.
