The HealthCentralNetwork has launched a great redesign of all our sites including this one, our Migraine disease and headaches site. Setting up a site so people can locate information is difficult at best, especially given that we all tend to have different ways of reading and looking for information.

Some of the changes we've implemented are:

  • Less clutter and better links to more relevant articles and other content.
  • An easier to read layout and better formatting.
  • Better organized index pages.
  • An opportunity to rate articles via a "Was this helpful?" button at the bottom of articles.

Our homepage will remain much the same, but to make navigating and reading our site easier, we've made some major changes to our index pages. If you haven't been using the index pages, take a look by clicking "Find," "Manage," and "Connect" at the top of those boxes on the homepage.

When you're on the index pages, be sure to check out the drop-down menus from the navigation bar at the top of those pages...

You'll find some changes in doing SharePosts too. Step 2 used to be choosing a category -- journal, question, etc. Step 2 is now writing the SharePost, and step 3 is adding "tags" to tell people what your SharePost is about. As we have more and more SharePosts, these tags will make it much easier to find posts on specific topics.

If you have questions about any of the changes, please click the "Add Comment" link below and post your question.
