My DH keeps a waterproof USB drive on his keychain to transfer files from his office computer to his laptop. He can use the laptop at home or on the road, then upload the revised file and take it to the office.

We use a USB drive as an off-site backup for our financial management program -- Quicken. I make an additional backup, and he takes it to the office.

What a great idea to put medical information on a USB drive! And for it to have its own encryption and operating system files. I've throught about joining MedicAlert but never have. I wore a warning bracelet when I took Nardil, but not anymore.

Thanks for giving us this information, Teri!
