I preordered this book last month, so it arrived in my mailbox not too long after. You are absolutely right; it is an incredible book, and I plan on giving it as a gift to some friends/family close to me. What a wonderful way to teach others about our disease in a way they may understand. And Teri, your foreword to the book was great!! Laughing

And wow.  Pain may be subjective and not a shared experience, but as I read some of the poems and essays I saw reflections of myself everywhere.  Others have seen the battle; fought and won, or still fighting, and they can relate to my experience.  Not just the specific type of pain, but the lived experience of it, the mutitude of effects it has on just being.

I am really impressed with how it turned out and hope anyone who reads it enjoys pages 28-30, 'To all those with migraines'.  :)
