    Thanks for sharing the video, Teri. It is a really good report, isn't it? I haven't had botox done. But, I really liked what the one physician said, something like "you can't cure migraine anymore than you can cure diabetes. But you can manage it." Thanks for passing this along!

    Hi~

     

    Botox wasn't successful for me. However, I see the doctor in the video injecting the muscle group between the neck and shoulder. My neurologist did different areas in the three times we tried this. I wonder if he has the pinpoints down? When I told him he had injected the neck area the first time, he argued with me. Hmmm...

    I started getting botox injections 3yrs ago. At first I would go every 3 mths. for my shots. Now I go when I feel the injections wearing off, which is about every 7 to 9 mths.

    I'm not migraine free of course it's more like like migraine light. My migraines are less intense when I get them. Even my auras are less intense.

    Botox isn't my only form of treatment. I still have to take my topamax, & I have my abortive meds,etc.  I see the botox as agreat extra measure for me in fighting my migraines.   Kim
