Migraine prevention is difficult at best. What works well for one person may not work at all for another.
There are no medications on the market that were developed specifically for Migraine prevention. We do our best with hand-me-down drugs developed for other conditions.
Botox (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is one of over 100 medications being prescribed off-label for the prevention of Migraine. Our own Dr. John Claude Krusz (Ask the Clinician) has reported success in his use of Botox for Migraine and headache prevention. See Intradermal Botox for Migraine, Headache, Pain Disorders for more information.
The use of Botox has been of interest to many of you. We have several discussions about Botox on our forum, and have had several questions about it in our Question and Answer section.
Today, I came across a video about Botox for Migraine prevention that should be interesting to you...
