  • Hello, everyone!

This is a new topic that I'll be posting on each week -- the newest Migraine and headache information we've made available here on MyMigraineConnection.

Without further ado, here's some of the newest information we've published here for you:

    MRF Announces 2009 Research Grants
The Migraine Research Foundation has awarded six grants totaling $300,000. This is great news for Migraineurs. This is the kind of research needed to better understand Migraine disease and develop new treatments. Check out this post to see who received these grants and what research they're doing!

Cindy McCain Speaks Out About Migraine
Nancy and I will be going to Philadelphia this week to attend the International Headache Congress (IHC). The IHC hasn't been held in the United States since 2001, so this is our first opportunity to attend. It promises to be quite exciting.

One thing that should be especially exciting is the keynote address by Cindy McCain, who fights her own battle with Migraine disease. Mrs. McCain is not only highly visible, she's strong, intelligent, and well spoken. It's also very obvious from her comments that she fully understands and cares about the suffering of all Migraineurs. Check out what Mrs. McCain plans to talk about and what she thinks need to be done!
