Terri,
Please provide a link to the study, or the actual scientific details of how Theobroma cacao is helpful in mice. For some, it's enough to hear that this is happening. For others, including me, it's not enough, and we want the actual details of how and why the substance is helpful / working.
Has a paper been published? What is the mechinism at work here? I would like more details. Please provide a link to the actual work if possible.
Thanks.

Sorry. I left off the source, which is something I always put at the end of posts such as this one. There's nothing published yet for me to send you to. This information was a research abstract presented at the International Headache Congress earlier this month.
At conferences such as that one, which are attended primarily by doctors and researchers, we often hear about research that's very new and not yet published. That's the case with this one.

Well, it may just be an early animal study, but since I am sure chocolate does not trigger me, I'm quite ready to add more cocoa to my diet!
