Healthy Monday for Migraineurs - Play with your kids!

  • For those of you who have children... Don't just take your kids to the playground - play along! Act like a kid yourself on the swings, the slide, and the monkeybars. You won't even realize you're working out.

    You may not always be up to this, but whenever you are, it will not only be great exercise, it will go a long way toward banishing the Migraine guilt we often feel when we aren't doing things with our families as much as we'd like.

    Before you head off to the play ground, but sure you...
    • Take your sunglasses.
    • Wear a hat with a bill to block sunlight that can hit from above.
    • Take a bottle of water with you to avoid dehydration.
    It's that time of year when it's nice a warm, but not too hot or humid yet. Enjoy!
