I made appointments for physicals for my husband and I, which included asking for blood tests. When the doctor saw my blood work, he ordered an anemia panel. It showed I am anemic, so I started using Bifera after the iron prescribed made me sick. He said that, if the next anemia panel showed it's improved, he'll up the dose of Bifera since I can stomach it. I had another panel done after I went to see him about IBS issues, and his assistant called to tell me he wants me to see a hematologist.
I went online to learn about anemia and, of course, panicked when I saw all the causes, some of the tests needed and some of the treatments. Having been through so many treatments for migraine and fibromyalgia, I'm getting almost resistant to wanting to try any new medication and adding to my arsenal really doesn't appeal to me. Still, anemia can become very serious if left untreated, so I will just have to wait until my appointment and see what the doctor says. One blessing: it might explain my extreme fatigue, treatment may help my chronic headache. Who knows, right? Thanks for listening, my friends!

. Yet maybe your thoughts will be correct on the fatique front. Do let us know how it goes, ok?
I can understand not wanting to deal with more meds. Sometimes the pile of pills we already take seems overwhelmong.
