So often when I am reading posts I am struck that doctors do not listen and they do not work with us in what we need as patients.  I saw my neurlogist yesterday due to increased side effects with Topamax.  She listened.  We talked back and forth, we worked out a plan.  I came out with a game plan that works for me.  I have additional treatment she would like me to consider, but she did not force on me.  I am so grateful for her help and support.  I know I am very lucky.  She is not part of a large headache clinic, but of a large neurlogical group.  She does treat a large number of migraine patients.  I have questions about the drug she I am starting, but I will save that for the forums.  I just wanted to share a positive day a the doctor, which just doesn't always happen for us!!
