Migraines

Drugs I am Taking

Topamax 75mg at night (decreased dosage as of 1/19/2008) Depakote ER 250 at bedtime (started 3/2/08) Imitrex 100 mg as needed; Frova 2.5 mg 7-9 days for menstral migraines; Levothyroxine 100 mcg (Synthroid) for hypothyroidism; Firocit and Vicodin as needed for pain not relieved by Imitrex.

About Me

I have had migraines for many years.  Over the past 5 years they have become much worse as I have started going through menopause.  I was recently started on Topamax with some relief.  Having in the last 6 weeks experienced 2 very serve migraine episodes I realize there is still more work to do in idenifying and avoiding those things that can trigger the migraines to avoid them and to see if further adjustments in medications need to be made.
