About Me

My mother, grandmother, 3 sisters, 1 half-brother, and my two children all have migraines. My one sister started when she was a child. I had ocassional migraines and then when I was pregnant with my son in 1989 I had a headache that never went away. I have tried about 50 medications with no luck. AT this point I don't care about a cure or preventative as much as I just want to stop feeling the pain. I have done everything from accupressure, biofeedback and massage therapy to a hysterectomy, divorce, psychiatrists, spinal taps, MRIs, cat scans, and numerous tests. The last 2 neurologists who specialized in headaches that I went to said they don't have any more suggestions and actually gave me my money back. My children have them also, my daughter being more hormonal and my son being a weather predictor. I'd give up, but I don't know how to quit, so I keep going without even knowing how I manage to do so.
