About Me

My migraines are a bit unusual in that I've had them for so many years and they show no sign of easing up. In fact, they have worsened with age. About 40% of my family has migraines, some of us with complicated, impossible to manage headaches. I think the worst thing is dealing with the unpredictability of the condition resulting in cancelled appointments, activities, ruining trips and holidays. Still hanging tough after 44 years of headaches(starting at age 10). Biggest regret is passing down the condition to both my children and at present, one of my grandchildren - I am glad the medical community finally woke up and recognizes migraine as a valid medical condition - progress is being made, thankfully!
