Has anyone seen either of these two doctors in Kansas: Jeffrey Kaplan, Lenexa OR Zwibelman, Overland Park.....If you have experience with either of these doctors, I would like to ask about your experience.
I haven't had any experience with these doctors, but other members here have and may be along to share their thoughts with you. The Migraine specialists on our patient recommended specialist list go through a process to be put on it, so they are not just blindly allowed on. They come highly regarded by patients and specialists alike.
Thank you for creating a SharePost. SharePosts are a form of blogging, and there are many things you can do with them. You can share an experience, suggest something that's helped you, use SharePosts as a Migraine and headache journal, and many other things.
We also have a discussion forum that you may want to check out. Especially if you have questions or are looking for information, you may find the interaction on the forum to be quite helpful. Along with your personal "My Home" page and the discussion forum, you'll find links to a great deal of helpful information and a spot to sign up for our free newsletter on the main page of our site, http://www.MyMigraineConnection.com.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post them to the forum or send me a message through my profile.
I appreciate that your listed physicians go through a screening process. That gives us all a place to start.
Since I have to travel a great distance to visit any of these doctors (I live in SC), I want to do my homework first. I travel once a year to Kansas to visit family and would be able to incorporate a doctor's visit at this same time. Since I just returned from there, I will have to make a special, costly trip to see the doctor which, of course, I am willing to do if it seems prudent.
Can you tell me if the screening process includes the input from many patients or do they qualify for your list at the recommendation of just one or two?
I appreciate your patience with me. You can probably imagine that I am looking for a little more assurance before I schedule anything.
Again, thank you for your time. This website has already been helpful to me. In a few days, I will know if the suggestion to try Frova for menstrually-induced migraine works for me. If it does, I will be posting my findings.
