Migraine and Headache Clinical Trials Update 4/25/10

By Nancy Harris Bonk, Health Guide Sunday, April 25, 2010

Most people have heard of clinical trials for Migraine treatments, but I wonder how many of us have given much thought about being in one? It sounds like a daunting experience, but it's a good way to play an active role in our health care, be exposed to new, cutting edge treatments and help with scientific data. Clinical trials are biomedical or health-related research studies in humans that follow a pre-determined protocol.

There are many clinical trials of treatments for Migraines and headaches that are currently seeking participants. Not all of them are medications either, so if you're interested in other treatments, such as acupuncture, it's worth taking a look at what's out there.

Check out our newly updated listings of Current Migraine and Headache Clinical Trials.

Hope you're feeling as well as possible,
