How mindful and aware are you of Migraine disease? I mean really? Since June is National Migraine Awareness Month, now might be a good time to reevaluate, reeducate and regenerate yourself (and maybe your doctor too!) on your Migraine management plan. Are you an active participant in your own health...

thank-you for reminding us of the basics. it has been through my and my familys' work and research that i have been able to manage migraines and get some of my life back. though i am not able to make social commitments as i never know how i'm going to feel, and i can't do some of what i used to (run marathons, row, cycle) i have pain-free days and i am grateful for that. the positive that has come from migraines is an appreciation of what i can do, what i have and the incredible people in my life who get it and care.
keeping a diary is a bit of work but the payoff is worth the effort as i avoid as many triggers as possible and feel better for it.
take heed, take responsibility and enjoy what you can.
thanks again
Thanks for reading Toni. Being mindful of Migraine disease is difficult for me, acceptance is a daily battle.
Take care
