I usually try not to gripe and whine, but I think I need a little SharePosting therapy right now.

The weather has not been stellar around western New York. My body seems to be rebelling at everything. I've had a cold for four weeks which turned into the ear infection from Ma...

    Morning Nan,

I was just wondering how you are doing? Yes, the weather seems to have been playing havoc with many from the migraine club. Gosh, I really didn't want to be  member. It is the members though that are the best part of the whole deal!

Things have really been tough, stressful, just darn right hard for me to handle. It comes down to my health. I would give anything for it not to be the major factor in all of this. I shouldn't be shocked. I just didn't think I would be one of the statistics.

The darn pain! Dear Santa; Please try to sprinkle some migraineless time for all the people here. They really are so deserving of it.

Thank you all for all your kind words, your great advice, your research, and most of all your friendship this past year. It has been much needed and greatly and honestly appreciated!

Merry Christmas to all. Nancy I do hope your day is going very happily for you and your family today and through the rest of the season!

    Thank you and Bless You,

Nancy - Is it the Eurythmics Song you're thinking of?  "Here comes the rain again, falling on my head like a memory, falling on my head like a new emotion..."

That's so perfect for migraine - I think it goes, "here comes migraine again, waking in my head like a memory, crying in my brain like a new emotion..."

I hope all cleared up for you over the weekend.  As you know, I've been dealing with migraine right before Christmas too.  Feeling much better this morning.

    Hi Nancy,

I have been up and down all week with weather triggered/no sleep triggered migraines.

I hope you are doing much better today.  I am up and around (just not about yet).  My plan off attack is to keep my buttocks on the couch the rest of the day and forego the Christmas party tonight so I can be up and healthy tomorrow morning with the kids.

    Merry Christmas everyone!!

Sometimes griping and whining is just what the doctor ordered. It can be therapeutic in some doses- even the pity party can be useful when used correctly!

Anyhow, I'm glad the Axert worked, and the migraine died a fierce death at the hands of the triptan!

Hope the weather improves and stays improved for several days. It's no fun to be at the mercy of weather fronts. Which is why I still intend to get that Jamie-sized bubble for me to live in... Perhaps they make one that you can find in your neck of the woods! Wink
