I usually try not to gripe and whine, but I think I need a little SharePosting therapy right now.
The weather has not been stellar around western New York. My body seems to be rebelling at everything. I've had a cold for four weeks which turned into the ear infection from Mars. This meant my holiday shopping got off track, or better stated, delayed, putting me into a time crunch.
So the other night I felt a bit crabby, and started yawning alot. Prodrome, (the first phase of a Migraine attack - see HERE for information) I realized had begun. I usually don't experience this, but as luck would have it, I did. Then the headache phase began (the second phase of a Migraine attack) and I was not a happy camper. I deciced to tough it out and go to bed without taking anything for it.
Upon waking I was still in pain and thought I'd better take some action. I took an Axert and laid down. Within forty-five minutes I felt relief. This meant I could continue with wrapping, baking, and finishing my shopping. Now the trick will be to avoid another attack through the holidays. Managing my triggers will be especially important now, since my body is already under stress.
I feel better "griping" about everything. Thanks for reading.
Happy Holidays to all. I hope they are pain-free.
