Scientist Discover Link--Could Lead to Major Migraine Breakthrough

By MAGNUM, the National Migraine Assoc. Thursday, April 16, 2009

WASHINGTON, D.C.; APRIL 6th, 2009-(UPDATED APRIL 16th, 2009)-Every April 15th, scientists report a dramatic rise in Migraines and in headaches. After a review of the data, it appears an overlooked trigger was discovered.   To that fact, scientists believe they have discovered a link between the rare Oryctolagus Ostern and the recently recognized species called Oryctolagus Migraineous.  It is strongly believed if our Senate and Congress were to focus research on the Migraineous animal it could lead to major medical treatments improving the lives of up to 36 million Americans.  It is estimated that this breakthrough will save the United States $31,000,000.00 or $31 Billion a year in lost income, productivity, and taxes from a possible cure in the future.

Now that we have you attention, what MAGNUM just ‘reported' was that a new species of animal related to the Easter Bunny (Oryctolagus Ostern) called the Migraine Bunny (Oryctolagus Migraineous) was just discovered! And that the Oryctolagus Migraineous, which can attack at any time but has a propensity to strike every year on April 15th just as his cousin (known to hit just once a year), the well known Easter Bunny, visits on a timeline so complicated that only top scientists in the field can predict it.

All joking aside, the image of a cute and fluffy Oryctolagus Migraineous sneaking up behind us to whack us on the back of the head as we struggle each year with our taxes seems to hit home for many.   In fact, even while he made no reference to the discovery of the 'Migraine Bunny', President Obama mentioned the need for a "simpler" tax system that is fair.

chuckle.  my wife does the taxes-thank goodness.  I hear that the Migraineous Leprechaeneum also uses a green solution to cause the same thing.
