I have found in that after I ate bacon, pork, ham, anything with sodium I would have a mirgraine. I found since I quit eating these food my migranes have subsided for now.

    Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!

Food triggers can effect some Migraineurs with a venegance! Good job figuring them out. We have a Migraine diary that you may find helpful too.

Migraine is a genetic neurologic disease so for now all we can do is manage it. Education and support can help with that.

It is probably not the sodium, but the nitrates and nitrites. That is a common trigger for me. Good nes is that they do make some bacon, etc without them. One is Oscar Meyer natural bacon. It is more expensive and is not sold in all grocery stores, but it has no nitrates or nitrites. I think it only has cane sugar and sea salt.

It is great that that seems to be your only trigger, though. You are lucky.
