I am holding on to hope.

By headachelady Friday, August 14, 2009

I have to hold on to hope that I am going to get better - that the docs will find the right combo of meds, new treatments will be discovered, my body will respond better, and my migraines may get better after menopause (as some say they do:)  I have to hold on to hope or I will die.  For every new day that we are given there is hope.  For most of the time over the past 2.5 years, I have found it hard to hold on to hope on my own.  I have been blessed to have been surrounded by a loving, supportive family and a wonderful church family and friends who have had hope for me.  They have prayed (and are praying) continually.  They have sent cards and have called.  What an encouragement they have been.  If you are someone who has a hard time asking for help, I would just really encourage you to really take that first step and ask.  It can make the biggest difference in your journey.  Be blessed - Kayleen

2nd day on high dose Prednisone, increased Namenda, new Verapamil and Magnesium preventatives
