About Me

Hi! My name is Kayleen and I am from PA. I have a BA in Sociology. For the past 12 years I have worked in the Early Childhood Ed/Childcare field. I love working with preschoolers! I get so much energy from them. They are such little sponges. I have been on disability for depression for 10 years. I am so much improved in that area of my life and could probably get off of it. But now my disability that keeps me from working is my migraines and chronic daily headaches. I was teaching a class of 3 year-olds last fall, but after missing some work and a 10-day hospitalization I lost my job. It broke my heart. I am a Christian. I truly believe in supernatural healing. The Bible is full of accounts of Jesus healing sick people. I believe that still happens today. But I am also a big believer that God gives doctors wisdom and uses medications and other medical treatments to heal people. I am truly believing for my healing. A lot of other people are too. I don't understand why I have to suffer so much, but I know that good will come out of this. It may come in the form of me being able to help others in their journey thru this or some other way that I may not even know. There are a lot of things that I enjoy doing, but have been unable to do in the last 2 1/2 years since the worsening of my migraines. I love to be involved in my church. Mornings are bad for me (I have sleep apnea and insomnia - ugh!) so getting to church is a challenge. Spending time with family and friends has also been cut short. I have 2 great-nieces that I adore and I have missed so much in their lives that I will never be able to get back. But I am so very thankful that I have WONDERFUL parents who are so very supportive and who do everything they can to help me. I also have a wonderful extended family who love me, encourage me, and pray for me continually. It is my hope that I can be as much of a support and an encouragement to you as I know that you will be to me.
