I just turned 41. I have taught English, writing and history at Gatlinburg-Pittman for 18 years. I am married to my college sweetheart. (We met in dance class... how romantic!) I love reading (especially mysteries), movies (especially comedies and classics), and television shows that couldn't make it on the air. (If you haven't seen Wonderfalls or The Job, rent them if you like comedies.) I also have three cats and two labrador retrievers with whom I love to play. I don't have any children of my own, but my husband and I all but legally adopted one of my former students when she was in need. I am so proud of her!! She's a Dartmouth girl now! I love baking, and I bake all of our bread. (Store bought? NEVER!) I love to sing and play piano and listen to music of almost any genre (except rap), but can't find anything I like on the radio. My favorite artists are Dar Williams, Rilo Kiley, KT Tunstll, the Mavericks, Natalie Cole, and about a million others.
Of course, frequent migraine attacks keep me from doing most of this far too often.
