About Me

I have suffered with migraine since I was 11. Every month on my cycle, 2 weeks out of the month I was down. I have been in and out of ER most of my life. I have done everything to not get addicted to pain meds and considering my history, I have done very well!! I have been dropped by numerous neurologists because they simply "cant help me any more". I had my ovaries taken out Sept. 08, had 4 months of freedom (if you can call it that-still living in fear of when its going to "hit") then in January they started again, and I have had a migraine every day, sometimes two or three, since April 1st. My family has suffered terribly. I am crabby and inpatient!! I am having a vinyl fence put around my house so my 2year old can play outside with out me. Poor lil guy just wants to play outside ALL THE TIME and I am stuck in the dungon with the curtains closed. My labs recenly came back that I grew another ovary (par for the course-leave it to me) and so I had a Depot Lupron shot and will have one more soon. Labs came back this week with no estrogen.......but still having horrible migraines. I am tired. I am sad... I want my life back and I am missing out on my kids lives!!! that is worst of all. All they have known is how sick mom is ALL THE TIME. I will keep the hope. I do believe this will stop or at least be manageable. God is Good!! I will always believe that.
