I have had a chronic headache (24/7) for 2 yrs. It is on the right side on my head, mostly on top. My doctor prescribed flugin hydrocholide (spelling) that helped for a few months, but it came back. I had a MIR done and it showed nothing. Noise and smells intensify the pain. The neurologist says it acts like a migraine but is not a migraine. I went on vacation in May of this year and the headache went away until the end of August. The pain now is a sharp pain. Before May , it would change everyday from a pressure to ice pick to sharp pain. Any thoughts?

Chronic head pain is exhausting and frustrasting, I'm sorry you have to deal with it. Most people who have Migraines have normal test results.
