Would like to know in what dosage vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid should be taken to have this effect.  I have taken a daily multiple for years and migraines are a constant in my life.  Thanks.

No, I don't, but I take 1 - 2 ounce bottle of 5 Hour Energy DECAF which has no jitters and only as much caffeine as a 1/2 cup of decaf and wards off most of my CLUSTER migraines which I've suffered with for 12 years.  I am now completely off all medications after going cold turkey from Methadone the first month, Percocet the second month, and now Amitriptyline the third month.

Yes, I still have bad migraines sometimes but the days I don't are no longer spent like a vegetable.

I will be going to a Naturopath soon to get Vitamin B6 and B12 shots hopefully only once per month but continue to drink 5 Hour Energy DECAF everyday as well as take Vitamin B6 and B12 caplets as well.

I also take 2 capsules of Taurine daily (afternoon) which is also found in 5 Hour Energy DECAF.  It's very cheap and seems to be helping.

But no one thing that works for someone works for someone else; the variables are simply too many to calculate.  Unfortunately, experimentation is about all we have, and that's what I was subjected to for 12 years but the drugs were killing me.  My prostrate grew demanding more medications just to pee.  I was sleeping too much and feeling driggy all the time.  Was irritable, impossible ot live with all the time not just when I was experiencing migraines.

At one time I was put on Vicodin and Oxycotin (not Oxycodone) for over a year, and now doctors say no one should ever take those drugs together.  It cost me two of my most loved nieces over a misunderstanding during my mother's dying.  That's been 9 years now and still hurts.

Do something other than medicate!  I wish you the very best.  Understand and accept it's a long road whihc sometimes seems not worth it but giving up is NEVER an option.

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
