I've recently retired from teaching and consulting online due to the increased frequency and length of my migraines. I'm under the care of a neurologist in Rochester, NY who specializes in patients with migraine. This increase has built up over the past 6 years and while my migraines are less severe, I am experiencing 3 -4 migraines per week. I am post menopausal, use biofeedback, am aware of my food and environmental triggers, and have recently begun yoga in an attempt to further improve my overall health. I have a supportive and understanding family, but feel frustrated at the loss of career and abilities. I am looking forward to learning to look forward to the things I can do rather than what I cannot, and to sharing the support and education that I hope to gain through joining this group. Thanks.
