    Yes, it is probably going to take a while. But take satisfaction in that you actually know the truth of what is going on.

     

    I've had migraines for 13 years (I was diagnosed when I was 8) and I'm no closer to any kind of long term solution. Some days it's really hard and I get depressed, and of course I feel like giving up...but you can't give up unless you want to stop living all together.

     

    I have quite a few sinus migraines too. It's frustrating...and the pain in your face really sucks. I just started using a neti pot (the teapot you put up your nose and flush through with salt water) and it has relieved some of the regular sinus pressure that I feel.

     

    Good luck and don't feel discouraged, just keep pushing through

    It can take up to three months to see a reduction in the number and severity of our Migraines when we start a new medication. If you don't see a reduction, after that time, please discuss other options with your doctor. You'll be interested to know there are many options, over 100, that can be used for Migraine prevention.
