Have been at the Headache Clinic since Saturday, (my 45th birthday whoopee), on all kinds of new stuff, after reading what half of them do to you, I'm about ready to go off all of 'em.  I was on Verapamil, Lamactil, Effexor and Wellbutrin, the Effexor was changed to Cymbalta, bad dizzy spells,no help with the migraine.  So was told to come to the inpatient clinic/hospital whatever you call it, my doc has been gone since I've been here, scheduled to be in tomorrow, don't know when I am to get out of here yet, but migraine is still at a 6, down from a 7 since Dec 17th, when grandkids were here for Christmas from Vegas).  Have been off work since the 31st of December.

Was taken off Cymbalta and Wellbutrin and am now taking Nardil and Periactin, (Periactin is in drug.com as dangerous to take with MAOI's, o goodie) this is being used as just a standin till MAOI takes effect?.Unsure   Since the IV Norflex wasn't working and Toredol isn't doing much, I was switched to Inepsen and Benedryl, put me out like a light, made me dizzy as all get out and really sick to my stomach. yuk.  So now I have had my last of 9 DHE treatments, starting Saturday the 2nd, still not feeling all that good, hate how the drugs make me feel, o and they added Depakon, which is also a "dangerous drug" to take for your liver I think?  Is there a better website for this, will have to do some surfing.  Meanwhile, one of the Doc's taking my doc's rounds said my kidneys are slightly compromised and since (I think it was the Depacon) is awful for your liver what the heck?  I'm beginning to wonder what is worse, being on Vicodin all the time, (what I was doing before my migraine specialist) or this.  At least I didn't have the emotional ups and downs that all this is doing to me.  I hate being a basket case, hubby says living with me is never boring, wait till I get home from the hospital this time, outta be fun.  Cry   Poor guy and such a devoted husband, luv him tons.

Can we all say pity party, I'm havin a big one, come one and all...I hate this @#$^%
