overwhelmed by new meds just downright scarede

Have been at the Headache Clinic since Saturday, (my 45th birthday whoopee), on all kinds of new stuff, after reading what half of them do to you, I'm about ready to go off all of 'em. I was on Verapamil, Lamactil, Effexor and Wellbutrin, the Effexor was changed to Cymbalta, bad dizzy spells,no help with the migraine. So was told to come to the inpatient clinic/hospital whatever you call it, my doc has been gone since...

MAO Inhibitert

I am on temporary medical disability leave till at least the end of Feb. If Cymbalta plus my other prevention meds don't stop this headache I have had at varying levels since December 30th, Doc will put me inpatient at the clinic and put me on MAO Inhibitors. I have been trying to avoid this for the last year, but I haven't really been below a 7 on the beast scale for at leats a year. I am tired of this life, tired of...

Keepin' On

I went to feed my horses this morning, live in northwest IL, it's beautiful outside. Trees all painted white, (we've had quite a bit of snow lately), and the morning is foggy, the horses gallop up to meet me. (Really it's the food, not me:) I've been really prone to pout lately just due to the constant migraines, but I really couldn't after looking at that. I could fuss about work and how no one...

Where do I go now

Well, I'm going to see my Migraine Doc tomorrow, see what my fate is. I have told her before that the med's make me spacy, in fact all of them have for the last 5 years...but it hasn't gotten me anywhere. I can't be dopey at work I have peoples lives in my hands. I either have to get a letter from my Dr tomorrow that says I can return to work, I won't make the major mistake I made the other day, or she will tell me I am...
